BLESSED greetings, Cherished one. Our focal text came from a leader to his protégé in the ministry. This can also be applied to anyone assigned to fulfill anything worthwhile in life. God has not given you the spirit of fear. Yes, the kind of fear that destroys which is also called “cowardice or timidity.” *God does not supply timidity or cowardice to anyone. Being coward or timid will fight you from fulfilling your assigned visions in life.*

As a new Creation, you ought to know the things God has freely given to you in Christ in order to enjoy them. In the same vein, you have to know those things He has not given you so that you can resist or run away from them. 1 Corinthians 2:12 says: Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been FREELY GIVEN to us by God.

One of the things freely given to us in Christ is the spirit of power. Yes, that’s what our focal text says and it’s true with no lies. A powerful God cannot leave His children powerless. You are powerful, not powerless. The Spirit of God in you is the power source in you. The word “power” in our focal text is “dunamis” in Greek and it means “ability or strength or influence.” This power when exercised in faith is able to overcome any form of fear. Today, face your fears; conquer challenges and any negative mindset by engaging the power resident in you. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

I DECLARE

I graciously enjoy what my Father has given me and resist whatever doesn’t come from Him. I have power over the spirit of fear. I exercise my power over it. I refuse to fear because the Source of power is resident in me. I walk in this power to fulfill my divine assignments in the Blessed Name of Yehoshua. Amen !
