GLORIOUS greetings, Cherished one. Our focal text is a powerful revelation from Jesus Christ when He was about to finish His earthly ministry. He said, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace.” The word “peace” is “eirēnē” in the Greek and it means a state of tranquillity, harmony, quietness and prosperity. This is when your entire life rests in the complete prosperity in Christ in the midst of fear, unrest or uncertainties.
This kind of peace is only found in Jesus Christ. This peace is not subject to the happenings or the environment or situation at hand. And the more you rely on His words, the more His peace comes alive to you. The peace in Christ far exceeds or surpasses human understanding (Philippians 4:7). When the world is shaking, your peace in Christ is resolute and unbending. A person whose peace rests in Christ is really blessed.
The spoken words of Jesus Christ aim to inspire peace and joy unspeakable. His words do not inspire hatred, violence, hopelessness and pain. Beloved, Jesus is called the Prince of peace. He is peace-personified. Nothing in this world can promise you perfect peace outside of Christ. No matter the turbulence of life in this world, relying on the words of Christ inspire peace. His peace has present and eternal benefits. Don’t measure perfect peace by things you have or don’t have but the Christ in you and His words you rely upon. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

I DECLARE
Christ is my perfect peace. In Him, I have perfect peace. I refuse to fear or walk in worry and anxiety. I graciously allow His peace that passes all understanding to mount a guard in my heart and mind. I stay resolute in the confidence of His words. Hallelujah!
