FRUITFUL greetings Cherished one. Aside from your relationship with God, the next vital relationship is with other people. If you master these realms of relationships you will be a great blessing on this earth. We’re living in an era that many are impatient to absorb certain behaviours. Many easily seek for vengeance on other people when they offend them. Some people curse out of the pains or hurt they’ve gone through.
However, as a child of God, you must be guided by the unadulterated word of God. We were admonished yesterday to bless those who persecute us and never curse them. Today in our focal text, the spirit of God through Apostle Peter also admonished us on our interpersonal relationship; We should not pay back evil for evil or insult for insult. Thus, when others do you evil or insult you, instead of returning in the same coin, withhold yourself and pay them with good and blessings. Yes, return with blessing.
He, therefore, shows us why: because we are called by God to inherit a blessing. In other words, we have been called to inherit blessing in order to bless others. Thus, we give out to others what we receive from God. The Holy Spirit in us is not for cursing, He is a life-giver and invokes blessings. As long as you deal with human beings in various fields, you must receive increased grace to handle people in love. Don’t let their actions define your reactions. Respond to them by the word of God, bless them, don’t pay them back with evil. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

I DECLARE
I am God’s favourite child accepted in His Beloved Jesus Christ. His Spirit lives in me to energise me unto right living with God and people. By the grace and knowledge available in Christ, I refuse to pay evil with evil or insult with insult. I graciously choose to bless lives and season with my words salt in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
