We learned yesterday that the forces that stand with you are much more than they against. Prophet Elisha did something remarkable. “As they approached him, Elisha prayed to the LORD, “Strike these people with blindness.” The LORD struck them with blindness as Elisha requested” (2 King 6:18). This is real power at work from the spirit realm to the physical. Beloved, the real power of God is still at work. Never doubt it. These armies were blinded physically because Elisha decided to prove the power of God. Many strange things happen when you rightly engage in spiritual welfare. Remember, God did everything just to protect the life of Elisha and his servant.

Do you know God is ever ready to fight all your battles whenever you engage Him? There are some battles that are higher than you and you would need the higher power of God in action. In our focal text, Jesus unveils yet another powerful truth that He could ask the Father to send twelve legions of angels to fight for Him if He was ready for battle. Thus, He would have engaged the help of the armies of angels to fight for Him and so that Peter would rest. One legion is equal to about 6100 foot soldiers, and 726 horsemen. So just imagine twelve legions of angels fighting for Jesus, who could defeat that great army?

Cherished one, when you are with God, you are not at the minority side. With God, you are part of highest majority. The devil, demons and wicked spirits combined can never outwit the intelligence and power of God protecting and fighting for you. The same way Jesus had that mindset to ask the Father of mighty angelic army, so do you. Any battle that is above you needs the engagement of higher forces. Call out and the Father will never deny your request. Because He is for your security and safety, not against it. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER 
Dear Father, strong and mighty in battle, I thank You for the forces that stand with me to assist me in the battles of life. I believe beyond a shadow of doubt that I am never alone in this journey. The Lord of angel armies and legions of angels are ready to fight for me whenever I need them. Thank You for doing everything necessary for my spiritual and physical protection in Jesus Name. Amen!
