24/7 DOXA Content, 18th April-PROFITABLE FOR SOUND DOCTRINE

IT is an established fact that all scripture is inspired by God’s Spirit and written by holy men. Just imagine if the Bible was written by corrupt sensual secular arrogant men; how would it have been ? We can clearly see how godly values or characters in the Bible contradicts what’s happening in our world today. However, man’s attitude won’t and cannot change the power, efficiency and efficacy of God’s word. God doesn’t lose when you don’t accept the holy scriptures. But His ultimate plan is for us to believe, accept, trust and live the scriptures as His very inspired words.

One function of the holy scriptures is that, it is profitable for sound doctrine. This means it is useful for sound teaching, training and instructions. The best education you need to submit to is that of the holy scriptures. We have a wide range of topics, life issues and matters that are gloriously structured in the holy scriptures. Jesus says “You study the scriptures thoroughly because you think in them you possess eternal life, and it is these same scriptures that testify about me” (John 5:39).

There is no book that can rightly inform, transform and inspire like the holy scriptures. Thus, there is not substitute of the scriptures. Apostle Paul admonished his son in the Lord “to give attention reading and doctrine (teaching) of the God’s word (1 Timothy 4:13). Cherished one, invest quality time into God’s word; Read and study it with the lens, understanding and revelation of the holy Spirit; and you’ll enjoy the reality and power of it in your life. Use it personally and teach others in your home, workplace, family, ministry, Nation etc. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER
Father of glorious knowledge and revelations, I thank You for the ability of the holy scriptures to teach me Your statues, commands, will and ways. I humbly submit to Your Holy Spirit to teach, guide and help me to do Your commands in the holy scriptures for a glorious life in Jesus Name. Amen!
