SHALOM greetings to you, Cherished one. We learned yesterday that the love of God shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit helps us to keep His commandments. Yes, love makes it possible to do His teachings. *God has proven beyond reasonable doubt through His Son that He loves us. Therefore we are also admonished to respond to the love of God by keeping His commands.* Today our focal text gives another powerful reason for keeping His commands as a lifestyle and not as a burden.
And that is because “whatever is born of God overcomes the world.” Born of God means you are fathered by God. It also implies whatever or whoever God gives birth to. John 1:12,13 says _”But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor the will of the flesh, nor the will of man, but God.”_ Beloved, when you believe in Jesus Christ then you are born of God. Don’t just be part of God’s creation be His child by believing in Jesus Christ.
He further unveils that whoever is born of God (God’s child) overcomes the world. Here the “world” refers to all the sinful people, the evil systems and everything in the world that is against God. If only you are born of God, then you are destined to overcome the world of sin. Yes, you have victory over the world. You succeed against the world, and you refuse to do the evil things unbelievers do. Walk with this revelation. Let this be your right mindset and nothing of this world can ever dominate your life. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always. Amen!

PRAYER
I thank You Father for given birth to me as an overcomer. I am born of God. I have your DNA in me to dominate the world and its ungodly systemd. As Your child, I am influenced by Your nature in me to keep Your commandments in the Name of my Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!
