FRUITFUL greetings, Cherished one. When the Creator of the world says be of good cheer because He has overcome the world, then it’s a cause for celebration. However, the celebration is a platform that leads you to know how you can practise and live out the victory in all areas of your life. Jesus did not overcome the world for you to be living as pauper, beggar, coward, or liability to society. He did it so you can live as an overcomer in all areas.
Jesus overcame Satan. However, He didn’t kill Satan so he will still throw deceptions and other temptations against you (1 Peter 5:8). When he throws his assaults, you can launch into the victory Christ won for you by resisting the devil in the truth of God’s word. The antidote to the devil’s deceptions and the temptations is the application of truth in God’s word, persistent prayers and diligent watchfulness (Mark 14:38). In the same way, Jesus overcame sin, but as long as you live in this world you will be tempted by sinful desires, the lust of the eyes, flesh and the pride of life (1 John 2:16).
But since the love of God is shed abroad in your heart, you refuse to succumb to sinful pleasures. You cannot love God and love sin. No, whenever you love God, sin loses its hold over your life. You can say no to sin because Jesus conquered sin and is empowering you by His Spirit to say no to ungodliness. By constant application of the Word, you can manifest the overcomer’s life. It is very true that you are an overcomer, so live as one. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

I DECLARE
I accept Christ’s definition of my life. He has overcome the world, therefore I reign from His victory. I am an overcomer. I take advantage of His victory to conquer all assaults of the devil and ungodliness. I am a champion over life’s challenges in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
