An ardent student of the word goes the extra mile in diligence with all readiness. The Jews in Berea made notes and came home to search whether what they heard is truth or not. *They received the word with a ready mind not a debating mind.* Beloved, receive the word with all readiness of mind, not reluctantly; and further spend quality time to search the scriptures to find out if what you hear is true. We are in the end times, refuse to be deceived.
There are different subject areas in the Bible such as eternal life, prosperity, Holy Spirit, speaking of tongues, law, righteousness, grace etc. Some are easily deceived on these subjects. And you will notice that such folks are those who have not spent quality time to search their Bible with the lens of the Spirit. This is why some believe there are no more divine healings, miracles or prophecies and tithes paying is invalid in the New Testament.
*However, God has answered almost everything concerning these subjects.* Your duty is to receive the word with readiness and search for areas that baffles your mind by the help of the Holy Spirit. Searching could also by done by asking from ministers who are anointed to teach God’s word. The readiness of your mind in receiving the word will help you transform into what God’s word says. Develop and grow in this attitude. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
I DECLARE
_I refuse to be deceived because I receive the word with a ready mind. I am helped by the Spirit of truth to know truth from falsehood. My life cannot be the same as I passionately study, search and live the truth of God’s word in Jesus Name. Amen!_
