FRUITFUL greetings, Cherished one. Money is one famous commodity that’s cherished by all in this world; due to the role it plays in peoples lives, it’s indispensable in the affairs of humanity. It seems you need money to do most things on this earth. Without money there are many things you cannot do. Money is so powerful that Jesus compared it with serving God (Matthew 6:24). Thus, it may influence or determine how people even serve God. The Bible says money answers almost everything.

Our focal text unveils that money has the ability to defend or protect. To wit, money can serve as a defensive shield against poverty, some sicknesses and tattered life. Money is meant to defend the right course, people and the needy from the oppression of poverty and ignorance. However, it doesn’t matter the great essence of money, it has some limitations. Some include; money cannot give eternal life, divine health, wisdom, grace, mercy, righteousness, eternal peace etc. But wisdom is a defence, gives life and offers many treasures (Proverbs 3:1 ff). *Wisdom has defended many from pains, struggles, poverty and deaths.* Beloved, wisdom gives many advantages over money. Therefore, seek wisdom in all your affairs (Prov 4:7).

Yes, you need wisdom to make durable riches or wealth. A person with money and no wisdom has no better future. His life is oblique and short sighted; but a man with wisdom and money can transform his world tremendously. Money above wisdom is chaos, corruption and incite all manner of evil and wickedness. Money without wisdom is poverty in disguise. Unlike money, wisdom can teach you the right direction and decisions to make per time. The conclusion of the matter is you need the wisdom of God in handling your money appropriately. *Never desire to be poor, however never desire to be wealthy without God’s wisdom.* The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.
