FOCAL TEXT: Psalm 3 vs 3

GRACIOUS greetings, Cherished one. Our focal text unveils the real life experience of King David and how he dealt with it. David as a King had prophetic inclination into the counsel of God. At the time of writing our focal text, his own biological son, Absalom, had rebelled against him and wanted to kill him. So in the previous verse, he said “Many are they who say of me, “There is no help for him in God.“Isn’t it dangerous that your own son could rise against your kingdom and personality? However, he wasn’t perturbed.
Also, isn’t it funny when some people think Your God cannot and will not help you? Because they might even know your mistakes, weakness, flaws and failures; But God is faithful at all times. Whoever takes the words of men as final has embraced total failure and defeat. Successful people in the kingdom are those who ride on the wings of God’s unfailing word. So beloved, stop focusing and recounting the words of your adversary or situations and start focusing on the voice and ability of the One who knew you before you became a clot of blood in your mother’s womb.
That is what David did in our focal text, he said: “BUT…” Thus, no matter what the enemy or situation says or demands, there is another side called victory. “But” implies recognizing the other side of a matter. He refused to look to the side of the enemy because he had a more powerful revelation from the Lord. The best side to always focus is Christ, not on your crisis. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Father, I thank You for the revelation of Your wisdom through Your word. I acknowledge You at all times. For in You I live and move and have my being. You are my victory and my all in all. I focus on Christ and the words of His grace, so I triumph over every scheme of the adversary in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
