FAVOURED greetings, Cherished one. You are not just a mortal being but a spiritual being destined to engage in spiritual activities. Prayer is one vital activity you need to take serious as a believer. There are people who say “Unbelievers don’t pray but they prosper materially and financially, why should I pray, I just need to hard work”. Well, the knowledge of God’s word is a deliverer (Proverbs 11:9). Don’t join ignorant people to trivialize the power or necessity of prayer.
In our focal text, Jesus told them to pray so they would not enter into temptation. In other words, prayer will give them the advantage to dominate temptations when they arise. Beloved, praying always gives you an advantage over life. Prayer helps you to align with God’s will. One great man of God said: “If you don’t pray for the will of God to happen in your life, something else will happen.” Jesus prayed for the will of God to manifest in His life l (Matthew 26:41). Why would He pray if it was automatic?” As a single person, praying for your relationship will guide you to make the right decisions.
As married couples, prayer will bind the love and unity of your marriage. As a student or businessman, prayer will help your mind or business to flourish as creative and productive ideas will be made available to you by the Holy Spirit. You are able to destroy the plots of the devil and unreasonable people through prayer. *Don’t see prayer as a burden, see it an advantage. In any angle that you view prayer, it is always to your advantage or profit.* The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Cherished Father, I thank You for the opportunity and responsibility to pray. Prayer is an advantage for me because You said so. I conquer temptations, destroy evils plots and I am aligned to Your will as I stand in prayer. I am enjoying all-round benefits of prayer in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
