IT IS of utmost importance to know, understand and live the basic tenets, systems, beliefs of the Christian faith. You must live as an intelligent Christian. None should question your faith in Christ and find you wanton. Know the basics but simple powerful eternal truths that make your salvation unshakable as one who has built upon the living Rock Jesus. You mostly come across the phrase “believe in Jesus Christ”.
However it matters what you believe Jesus Christ to be; because some believe Jesus Christ to be the greatest prophet; but that doesn’t make them saved. Others also say He is one of the great messengers of God. This belief doesn’t make you saved either. Some believe He is one of the highest angels in heaven. Many also believe Him to be the great Teacher or Rabbi. But He is more than a teacher, prophet, angel or messenger. He is more than any human description. He meets the Father’s definition. What is the genuine way to believe in Jesus?
First, believe Him as the only begotten Son of the Living God. Some say God doesn’t have a wife to have a son. Note, God is All Mighty, not some mighty. He doesn’t need a wife to have a Son or children. He is not limited to the natural principles of men.* The spiritual laws of God are different and higher than your imaginative and argumentative mind. God is the “master seed” from which all good things come from. To walk in an unwavering salvation, believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of the Living God, not otherwise. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
Glorious Father of all truth, I thank You for given me Jesus Christ. I firmly believe Jesus Christ as the Son of the Living God sent to be my Lord and Saviour forevermore. My hope, faith and trust is firmly anchored on this truth. Hallelujah!
