We’ve been learning about believing in the existence of God which is always the safest side to be. However, believing God exists doesn’t mean you have faith in God and His works. Some people do believe God’s existence, yet they worship idols. Nevertheless, believing the existence of God is the only pathway that leads you to believe in Him and His works. For it takes believing His existence to believe in Him. You can’t worship or believe in someone you think doesn’t exist.
Hebrews 11: 6 affirms that: “Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever comes to Him must BELIEVE THAT HE EXISTS and that He rewards those who diligently search for Him.” Jesus also unveiled a vital truth in John 14:1: “Don’t let your heart be troubled. BELIEVE IN GOD. Believe also in ME.” Therefore, don’t just believe God’s existence, believe in His Person and work. What is the work of God? _”Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you BELIEVE IN HIM WHOM HE HAS SENT.”(John 6:29)._ Hallelujah! This is the ultimate truth that can transform the course of your destiny. The work of God is believing in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
It is by so doing that you’ll receive eternal life. Whoever believes the one true God should believe in His Son also; God sent His Son to this world to save us from our sins and to give us ETERNAL LIFE (Matthew 1:21/ John 3:15,16). Friend, you will never be saved or have eternal life by just believing God exists; but you would be SAVED (from sin, Satan, condemnation, hell, curses, spiritual death) UNTO (eternal life, blessings, joy, peace, sanctification, righteousness etc) when believe in Jesus. Cherished one, you are not saved and safe until you believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. For this is the work of God. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
Faithful and True Father of All Ages. I thank You for executing Your perfect redemption plan for my salvation. I believe You exist forevermore. I believe in Your Person and work . I believe in Your Begotten Son, Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. I enjoy eternal life, peace and joy unspeakable. Thank You for saving me in Jesus Glorious Name. Amen!
