There is a wise saying that “if the naked promises you a cloth, listen to its name.” It literally means no one can offer you what he doesn’t have. And when anyone attempts to give what he doesn’t possess he is seen as a flatterer, twister and liar. Many have been deceived because they didn’t receive what was promised them. But this marks a great distinction between God and humanity. *Humanity has a great tendency to fail and disappoint at different times but God has a consistent track record of success.* Thus, He hasn’t called and disgraced or failed anyone before.
Our focal text unveils how God called Abraham and Sarah from a low state, blessed and increased them. And we are admonished to look unto them. Thus, you can look unto any great person that God called from the mire clay and blessed as a source of inspiration and consolation. Whenever God calls a man and the man walks in obedience with Him, God makes great exploits with that person. The generation of such people cannot ignore or deny their relevance and contribution. Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David, Paul are glorious case studies where God proved consistent victories in their lives.
God had told Abraham that He would make him a great nation; and bless him and make his name great; And he shall be a blessing.” (Genesis 12:1,2). When Abraham obeyed, God fulfilled His promises. Cherished one, God doesn’t use anyone as an experiment of failure. He hasn’t done such a thing before and will never do it. Because He is a God of consistent success and greatness. Even though you will go through several challenges, tests and trials, the end is worth it. Refuse to give up; keep on trusting the God who has consistent track record of success; And your life will follow sweet victories of endless success. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
Glorious Father, Alpha and Omega, my trust is in You. I am fully convinced and persuaded of the great exploits and successes You give to Your children. I humbly submit unto You and walk with You all my lifetime. I refuse to give up or give in. For I know I am making great exploits with the God who has consistent track record of success in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen !
