24/7 DOXA Content, 13th June-FULFILLING HIS DEMANDS

Genesis 12:1-3 expresses the mind of God concerning Abraham. God wanted to start something great with him. But our focal text reveals that God desired him to fulfill certain demands. Yes, God always gives you a glorious picture of the future. However, He demands your agreement with His word and instructions. Thus, God starts the process and calls you to join Him. But the Bible says can two walk together except they be agreed? (Amos 3:3 ). You can’t walk together with God in disagreement. No it will require your agreement. And that takes the spirit of obedience. So obedience is agreeing with God to follow His demands, dictates and directions to the way He wants you to go.

So Abraham had to fulfil the demand by leaving his country, kindred and father’s house to the land God would show him. In other words, he had to stop depending on his father to absolutely depend on God for the blessings to come to pass. The fourth verse unveils “So Abram left there, as the LORD had directed him, and Lot accompanied him. Abram was 75 years old when he left Haran.”_ Abraham left as God commanded him. By so doing Abraham chose the paths of the blessings for his life and descendants. As a New Creation, know the demands God wants to fulfill.

Christ has been made all things unto us in order for us to walk according to His nature. You must fulfill the demands of heeding to the instruction and guidance of God and specific directions of the Holy Spirit concerning your life. God wants to start something great with you but this will require your total obedience to his blessed call. Cherished one, obedience is part of the training needed for greatness in your glorious future. Keep on doing or fulfilling His demands [the word]). *Your obedience to the word of God is the guarantee that you really need the blessings of God manifest in your life. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

_Dear Faithful Father, I thank You for the ability to fulfill the demands of your blessings. I refuse to depend on man. I choose to solely depend on You. For You are the treasure of blessings in my life. The spirit of obedience is at work in me to do Your will in Jesus Name!_ Amen !
