THE holy scriptures have made it clear the existence of God by virtues of the things He created. Creation reveals the attributes of the Almighty God. And just by looking at creation, one should be convinced enough to believe in God. But this is not always the case. Some even give the credit of creation to a creature and serve creatures instead of the Creator (Romans 1:25). Therefore such folks need the revelation that comes from the Father through the Son. That’s why preaching the gospel (word of faith) is very essential and should be continued with all intensity.
Our focal text states that _”The fool has said in heart there is no God”._ The Hebrew word translated “fool” means persons void of common sense and understanding. Such folks are called fools because they have refused to use their senses in the right direction. They use it against God and His word. They are so called because they clearly deny what is physically or mentally evident to their senses. They are so vile in their thinking that they walk in physical and mental repulsion to the truth.
The Hebrew rendition of Psalm 14:1 also says “The fool has said in his heart “who is God? In other words, fools question the existence of God when there are vivid and clear evidence in and around them. James 2:19 says _”You believe that God is one; well and good. Even the demons believe that and tremble with fear.”Cherished one, always choose be at the safest side by being a believer of God and His word, not a doubter. And you’ll enjoy the glorious benefits thereof. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
_Everlasting Father, Yehovah, You exist all by Yourself. I bow and give You all the glory and honour. For only You deserve it. Maker of the earth, heavens and everything in it, You reign in all the earth. I believe and trust You. I therefore enjoy the rewards of my belief in You in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen !_
