BLESSED greetings, Cherished one. Have you encountered genuine people in difficulties and you couldn’t help them because you didn’t have the means? Have you encountered a brethren in challenge whose situation didn’t need prayers or speaking in tongues, but could be solved by wealth and you couldn’t help because you didn’t have? Beloved, some situations need material substance (wealth) to solve them. The scripture says spiritual things are spiritually discerned.
The opposite is also true that material things are materially discerned. Knowing the purpose of the wealth you acquire through the ability God gives you is very vital, else the wealth could ruin or corrupt you. First, your wealth is for your personal welfare or well being. Yes, God told Adam to enjoy the things He had created. Seeking your personal welfare is not a sin. You need to be alive to help others or advance the course of others. Note, personal welfare is not the same as selfishness or self-centeredness.
Our focal text says it is better to enjoy the good in your labour. As you labour make sure you are taking good care of yourself. Take good care of your body; develop your mind and invest in your spirit. Your life becomes a public announcement of God’s glory and blessings when you take good care of yourself. Others will come to believe and trust the God you serve. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Father, I thank You for all that Your ability can do through me. I use the wealth You give me to take good care of myself. I take care of my spirit, soul and body. I refuse to live a wretched life. I live to bring glory to my Father who lives me in Jesus Wealthy Name. Amen !
