GLORIOUS greetings, Cherished one. Religion tells you to run away from the throne of grace because you are not worthy, but the word of His grace says come boldly and fearlessly to the throne of Grace because He has made you worthy. When you come to the throne of grace, you have an outspoken boldness as a citizen who has no fear of reprisal.

Our focal text unveils the throne of grace as a place where grace reigns in authority. And through faith in Christ, we have the privilege to approach the throne and take whatever belongs to us. And one of them is mercy. Yes, we are admonished to obtain mercy. The Greek word for “obtain” is “lambano” which means to take and make it yours. That is, seizing it to use because it is yours. God doesn’t need mercy but we need it. No wonder His seat is called the mercy seat.

Mercy is a compassionate kindness or goodwill towards the miserable and the afflicted. Mercy is always given with the desire to help the weak. We all need mercy for our human flaws, failures and weaknesses. The mercy of God makes Him supply what our strength and intellect cannot provide. Today, take or receive much mercy as you need to enjoy a glorious life in Christ. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

I DECLARE
I obtain mercy for my human failures and weaknesses. I receive tender kindness and compassion for all my flaws and human inadequacies. I take mercy for all my mistakes and sins. I receive mercy to triumph in life. I receive mercy for a successful life in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
