2 Corinthians 8 vs
9.》For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.~《NKJV》

AFTER getting acquainted with the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, you must know and ENJOY the different dimensions of the graces He carries. We are to know the grace that unveils his poverty and riches and how through His poverty we became rich. Our focal text unveils that Jesus was rich but became poor. Philippians 2:6-8 explains how; _”who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped; but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men._
And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, yes, the death of the cross.” Note His poverty is not necessarily referring to material or financial poverty. It refers to Him not walking in fullness as God on earth but taking on Him a garment of humanity to suffer through obedience. In His humanity, He felt hunger, thirst, tiredness; ordinary people could insult, mock, betray, speak all manner of evil against him and even “kill” Him. And the significance of His poverty was to make you rich. Thus, to abound in His righteousness and enjoying His life to the fullest (John 10:10).
He paid all your spiritual debts for you. He delivered you from the shackles of devil, sin, poverty and death. He has made you a king and priest unto God. *You now have access to His grace, mercy, love, truth and the all in all of Him.* This is how He made you rich. His richness in you started in your recreated human spirit. And this behooves on you to enjoy all forms of godly riches and prosperity. Therefore it is an error to be robbed by the devil, sin, death and poverty. For His poverty has made you rich. Choose to enjoy His riches in all areas of your life. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
Father of all true riches, I thank You for Your unfeigned love towards me to enjoy Your riches in this life and beyond. Through the poverty of Your Son, I am rich and abound in all things. I refuse to walk in anything contrary to Your true riches in Jesus Name. Amen !
