24/7 DOXA Content, 11th August-DON’T FEAR OR PANIC

GRACIOUS greetings Cherished one. Many Christians including some ministers read and expound the above text to put fear in themselves and other people. However, that is not the ultimate aim of the scripture for the New Creation in Christ. The Holy Spirit inspired the Apostle to write this to let us (the body of Christ) know the existence of devil, his operations and showed us how to deal with his schemes. In verses 16, it says ”Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be ABLE to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked”. The word “ABLE” implies “being capable, strong and powerful”.
The aim is to reveal to us our ability through Christ Jesus over the schemes of the enemy. So Papa God doesn’t announce the presence of the devil or demons to scare His children but to show them how defeated they are. There is a warfare not against flesh and blood, but wicked spirits. But thanks be to God, who has given us victory over them through Christ Jesus (2 Cor 2:14). No matter how some people portray the devil, never forget that Jesus paralyzed the devil and his cohorts (Col 2:15). You must therefore stand in the victory of Christ and enforce their defeat every moment.
Beloved, the next time you come across or hear of a principality, wicked spirit, witches, wizard, occultism and all sort of demonic operations, don’t let fear have a grip of you, rather be reminded of your ultimate authority over them and operate in faith and put him where they belongs. You are highly ranked in Christ with His power backing you. Never panic at the presence or mentioning of any demon or their activities, for you have won the victory through Christ Jesus. Knowing this, you put on the WHOLE ARMOUR of GOD in order to keep standing. Victory is yours. This is a faith life. Live this way. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and reveals through us the sweet aroma of His knowledge in every place. I walk in the victory of Christ and therefore refuse to entertain fear and panic of the schemes of the enemy. Using the shield of faith, I quench all the fiery darts of the enemy in Jesus Blessed Name. Amen!_
