GREETINGS to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints. We learned yesterday that God is for you at all times. In other words, God is not against you because He sent forth His only begotten Son to die for you. All that Jesus Christ came to do on this earth was for your sake. So if God was against you He wouldn’t do all these for you. Do you know that if you were the only person on earth God would have still sent His only begotten Son to die for your sins? (Galatians 4:4,5) Yes, God doesn’t want to lose His creation or children to anyone.
One would ask does it also mean God always approves all my actions or inactions? The answer is a big no! *God is always for you but not always for your actions or inactions. There are certain things God approves of and those He doesn’t approve of. Our focal text says it is God who causes us to will and do of His good pleasures. Therefore, He is against any action or inaction that doesn’t conform to His good will or pleasure. God does not cause us to do evil or pursue ungodliness.
1 Samuel 2:3 opined that “Talk no more so very proudly; Let no arrogance come from your mouth, For the Lord is the God of knowledge; And by Him, actions are weighed.” In other words, God evaluates what people do. Therefore, as a new Creation, learn to do what God requires of you and desist from what doesn’t please God. Whatever doesn’t resonate with His good pleasure, ignore it; do what resonates with His good will and pleasure. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Blessed Father, I thank You for causing me to will and do of Your good pleasure. I receive great enlightenment and illumination from Your Holy Spirit to walk according to Your will and pleasure. I am guided to do only what brings Your glory in Jesus Blessed Name. Amen !
