FOCAL TEXT: Romans 14 vs 6
►► “The one who observes a special day, observes it to honour the Lord. The one who eats eats to honour the Lord since he gives thanks to God. And the one who does not eat, refrains from eating to honour the Lord; yet he, too, gives thanks to God. ~| ISV|

GLORIOUS greetings, Cherished one. In terms of ceremonies and dietary laws, Apostle Paul distinguished the believers in two forms, the weak (in the faith) and the strong (in the faith). He said if the weak believers still feel to observe ceremonial rituals or dietary laws, the strong believers who believe they are not vital because Christ has become the fulfilment of them should not despise or ridicule them (Romans 14:3).

He made it clear in our focal text that both observe ceremonies and dietary laws to honour the Lord as well those who do not also do so to honour the Lord. This is very vital to promote the unity of the faith in Christ and the love among the believers. So until the weaker believers come to the full knowledge that observing those rituals and dietary laws have nothing to do their salvation, the strong believers should not condemn or criticise them so that they will not be offended (Romans 14:13). *Beloved, the love and unity of the believers matters to God than the love for denominational doctrines.*
The Bible does not promote division, it is wrong and unbalanced teachings that bring division among believers. In a nutshell, both the weak and the strong believers should keep the Lord Jesus Christ as their focus as they serve Him and avoid anything that causes divisions, conflicts and offences in the body of Christ (Romans 14:13). The strong ought to accept the weak and allow them space to also learn and come to the full revelation of the knowledge and freedom in Christ. Despite the differences, make sure you honour the Lord by accepting yourselves in love (Romans 14:15). The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.
