GRACIOUS greetings to you, Apple of Gods eyes. When you allow the peace of God which surpasses all understanding or intellect to garrison and mount guard over your heart and mind, His peace will teach you how to live a life of gratitude or thankfulness. Thus, you will learn to be thankful unto the Lord always for all that He has given and done for you. People who are not guarded by the peace of God run into unnecessary pressure, competition and comparison.

But when His peace guards your heart and mind, you will not succumb to any negative pressure to please others. That’s why our focal text admonishes us to be thankful. Being thankful means be mindful of favours towards you; be pleased with those favours. Don’t forget His benefits; Remember, one attitude that determines your altitude in life is gratitude. A lifestyle of gratitude is part of the New Creation. Murmuring, complaining and always blaming others have never made anyone successful. However, a life of gratitude is a glorious wheel for elevation.

Forgetting the goodness of God is dangerous, don’t be a victim. Beloved, express great thanks unto God for all the privileges and opportunities you have in Christ. Thank Him for all the good people He surrounds you with. Being thankful is a sign that you are ready to handle “the more incoming blessings”. Friend, be thankful. Extend this attitude to your family, friends, loved ones and leaders. Refuse to be ungrateful in any way. Because ungrateful people often “cut short” the flow of their blessings. Don’t allow anyone or situation steal the thanks and praise God deserves. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

Good Good Father, I thank You for all that You have done and keep on doing. I heartily appreciate all Your favours and benefits in my life. I will never take them lightly. For Your grace bestowed on me; For Your mercy shown me, I thank you. I thank You for the good people in my life. I am thankful to you forever in Jesus Precious Name. Amen!_
